What is Musiclick?

What is your "best price guarantee"?

If you find a more competative price for any of our sound libraries within 30 days of purchase, Musiclick will refund to you the difference in the advertised price. You must submit your original purchase receipt along with the advertised lowest price which we promise to match. Which formats do you carry and on what type of media?

We offer sound libraries in Red Book, CD Audio format, and many of our products are available as pre-edited .wav, .bwav, .aiff, and MP3 formats. Our sound libraries are available on CD, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and, where specifically stated, by download.

Can I audition sounds before purchasing?

What does Royalty-Free (RF) mean?

Royalty-free licenses provide the creative freedom to crop, manipulate, and use sound clips in other creative projects. In exchange for a one-time-payment to purchase the sound libraries, you can use RF audio clips for as long as you like, in as many different projects as you like. You don't have to pay any additional fees on a use-by-use basis. However, as with all Musiclick libraries, the rights granted are non-transferable and are personal to you. This means that if you license a RF product to be used in a particular project, you may not use the licensed product separate from the derivative work. Royalty-free licenses are always non-exclusive. All licenses of RF products are subject to Musiclick's Terms of Use.

What is Foley?

Foley is the process by which sound is recreated for film. The term, foley artist, is named after Jack Foley, one of the earliest and best-known Hollywood practitioners who started his career in the silent film era and later helped Universal make the transition from silent movies to talkies. Thus, a foley artist on a film crew is the person who creates many of the natural, everyday sound effects in a film, like water falling, bamboo cracking, or feet hitting the ground, which are recorded during a session with a recording engineer on-site or at a sound stage. Foley clips may also be used to accent existing sounds to give them more depth. Please check our vast selection of foley sound libraries to suit all of your post-production needs.

Can I buy single audio clips or sound effects? Do you sell sound effects downloads?

At this point, we only provide professional sound libraries and custom sound design services. However, our team of sound professionals is working to create Musiclick single-clip libraries which will be available for download in the near future.
